An artist by formation, Latifa’s artisanat debut began as a hobby. After working on several private projects in the Gulf, Latifa turned her hobby into her full time job by launching her workshop in 2002. She later started the Latifa Art brand, famous for turning simple pewter into work of art.

She worked with her team to produce handmade home and office accessories, lighting, personal gifts and souvenirs from napkin rings to mirrors, jewelry boxes to intricately designed frames. Every item can be personalized on demand and the style is a mix of traditional and modern and also combines different other material along with the pewter including wood, glass, plexi glass, and sometimes even painting.

When asked about her inspirations, she revealed: “Beauty is my inspiration; history is my inspiration. Everything that catches my eyes can be an inspiration”.

And sure enough, her inspirations allow for a handmade creation to adorn every room in one’s house.

Moreover, she participated in several exhibitions, for instance, Hreca 200, Art of Living, Decofollies, Daraj el Fan, Souk atik (Zouk).
